New Year’s Event 2025: From December 31, 2024, to January 4, 2025, celebrate Okinawa’s traditions and the New Year with special events at Sheraton Okinawa Sunmarina Resort.Enjoy "Okinawan Traditional Performances" on New Year’s Eve, featuring Eisa, lion dance, and Ryukyu dance. On January 1, start the year with fireworks by the marina, a sunrise and sake ceremony, and mochi pounding.

From December 1 to 25, join us for the "Christmas Feast Festival 2024"!: The resort will be illuminated with stunning lights and projection mapping, accompanied by beautiful handbell performances. Enjoy a lavish buffet featuring roasted Japanese beef, lobster dishes, and Okinawan hot pot. End your meal with the spectacular flaming "Baked Alaska" for an unforgettable experience.

【Exclusive to restaurant patrons!】 Sanshin Shimauta live performance!: We will be holding an event where you can enjoy Okinawa's unique culture, the sanshin and shimauta (traditional Okinawan folk songs).

【Winter Season only!】 Sunmarina Starlight Promenade: Sheraton Okinawa Sunmarina Resort will be holding a limited-time winter illumination event from Friday, November 1, 2024 to Friday, February 28, 2025. Guests will be greeted by a glittering path of light, and beautiful illuminations will light up the entire resort, creating a fantastic night.

Marine Activity Online Reservation Starts: Sheraton Okinawa Sunmarina Resort, some marine activities can be reserved online. We offer activities that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

Horse Riding & Leading Experience: At Sunmarina Beach, framed by palm trees, is a perfect spot for Horse Trekking. Enjoy a luxurious moment swaying on horseback with the blue sea in the background and a pleasant sea breeze.

Virtual Reality Station Now Opening!: "Virtual Reality Station" opens October 6, 2023, featuring two VR attractions that offer immersive adventures through Okinawa's scenic and resort experiences.

Notice of Reopening of the Japanese Bath & Sauna: The Japanese Bath & Sauna was temporarily closed due to an emergency facility inspection, will resume operations from the afternoon of Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Guest Rooms

246 guest rooms are all equipped with a balcony to ensure the comfort as your home away from home during your resort stay. In the South Tower, guest rooms are 50sqm in size and are designed with traditional Okinawan texture patterns and décor to enhance the resort ambience. In the Main Tower, we offer Maisonette rooms that consist of two floors including a tatami area, providing ample space that can be recommended for a family.
